My name is Ashley, and I'm addicted!

I have heard people talk about Pinterest for a long time now, and seen their "repins" on facebook and so on.  My thoughts all along have been.....just google what you are looking for "You should google it, it's worth a google" (10 points if you can name the movie that quote is from).  Well, I stand corrected....this place is a great time waster!!!  I find myself on it everyday.  My favorite category to search through is "Humor".  Some funny stuff on there.  One thing I was disappointed in......SALADS!!!

I have gained weight and feel like I have turned into an old lady.  No me gusta!!!!!  So, I am doing something about it, and thought pinterest would help.....so wrong.  Their selection of salads was pitiful!!!  And several of them seemed like the same ingredients presented in a different way.  So, I think that is my way of saying.....who needs boundaries and recipes for a salad....MAKE IT YOUR OWN!!!  What a great idea, I think I shall do that!

Do you have a favorite salad?  I would love to hear about it!  I am excited to use this opportunity to get creative.  Think about it, you can take anything you are craving, and turn it in to a salad!  Where to start?!?!?!?

Since I now have joined this century and have gotten a camera, I plan to photo document these dinosaur meals....joke!

Oh hi, It's me.....remember me??  I am hoping to get back in to things on here.  So, I thought I would start off with a wonderful but unusual picture.  This is the sunset in...wait for it.....Albemarle!!!  Who would have thought it right?  But it was too pretty not to capture!  I just had to!!

So, what to talk about in a blog that was originally started as a weight loss accountability to myself in which I am no longer participating.....I think anything is fair game then!!  Lots has happened since I last posted.  Like, this guy...

Isn't he handsome??  No, he's not mine.  I am the new cute aunt to a crazy little man.  Wait, flip that.  I am the new crazy aunt to a cute little man!!!  Hard to believe he is 5 months old!!!

Also I went on this wonderful vacation to this heavenly place.....

No, I didn't take a picture of the pool, that is the gulf water.  Does it get any better than that??  I am guessing no unless you tell me you like there and do that every day, then I might think differently.  Is it just me or does one of the chicks walking in the water look naked???

So, now that we are up to speed on what my life is doing, let's make this so regular Dulcolax would be proud!  It's a date!
